Sport Programme - Details
Below we have listed three of our popular programmes, followed by some additional nutrition & resilience options to further personalise your programme. We work with individual needs so please ask if you'd like to explore a different approach.
For athletes working towards a new challenge or personal best such as a marathon or half marathon.
(C) Other Choices - Nutrition & Resilience
Yoga one to one, (30min to 1h15min). Choice of flexibility, strength, concentration, breathing or relaxation focus. Can be a practical or a theoretical session. (Many athletes & teams are using yoga to get a competitive edge. Yoga is a beneficial and enjoyable activity for rest days).
Goal setting one to one. Coaching session to focus on your end goal or create a plan to get to that goal.
Follow-up nutrition appointment. 30 min or upto 60 minutes sessions available depending on complexity & topic. Example topics: Nutrition specific for your sport goals, weight management, injury recovery, hormonal support, food and mood, motivation, family health or travel nutrition. Can be face-face or over the phone.
1, 2 or 3 day Diet Analysis. Provide us with your diet list and we'll provide a detailed report showing your nutrient intake.
Functional laboratory tests - E.g. Adrenal stress test or Digestive stool test (Read more). Requires a consultation to review results.
Detailed report with research support.
Week or monthly meal plan.
Shopping list - Including new food ideas.
Accompanied shopping trip to supermarket or health food store - Cost on enquiry (Location and time dependent).
Partner & Family packages - Cost on enquiry.
For athletes of all levels with health issues affecting performance. Such as digestive issues, immune issues, fatigue, motivation, injury, hormonal or sleep issues.
Sport 4 All
New Beginnings Athlete
For new, beginner or returning athletes. Whether a 5K, first marathon, sponsored walk, sprint triathlon or because you're joining the local football or netball team. You'd like to be in the best health to enjoy the experience
(A) Included in all Sport Programmes.
Up to 90 minute private consultation. Review and discussion about your past and current health history, goals, training plan/physical activity, food habits and lifestyle challenges.
Priority action plan - Top 3 areas to focus on towards optimum health and peak performance.
Recommendations based on the consultation. Will include daily food and one day example meal plan (with options).
Nutritional strategy - Food guidelines, what to focus on more or less of.
Recommendations for optional Functional Laboratory testing.
(B) Sport 1&2
Health Optimiser & Peak Performer
As above in (A).
Recommendations for nutritional supplement programme - to support optimum health goals.
Overview of nutrition for your sport, or health optimisation - depending on priority.
Follow up consultation. Up to 50 min (can be by Skype or phone) - to review progress and to fine tune.
(B) Sport 4 All
New Beginnings Athlete
As above in (A)
15 min telephone or email review within 4/6 weeks of first appointment
After your first session you could book follow-up consultations. For example:
- Focus on a specific topic each session, such as specific nutrition and timings for your new sport, weight management, family health or food and mood.
- Review optional supplement recommendations.
- Review test results, if relevant.
- Select options from (C) below.
Follow ups can be face-face or over the phone. Some topics can be combined with a group of people/partner once they have done (A) first consultation.
*If you have a health condition or are on medication, then you may like to start with the two consultation option in the 'Sport 2 Programme'.
Subsequent sessions: £80 upto 1h or £40/30 min (Skype option)
